How to play

Welcome to the world of managerial wrestling games! If you’re gearing up to become the master of the ring, this guide will walk you through the essentials of starting out, training your wrestler, mastering moves, and climbing the ranks to championship glory.

First Steps

When you first start the game, you'll need to select a wrestler class. Each class has a specific attribute that can be trained twice as fast as the others, which is pivotal to developing your wrestler's strength and skills efficiently. Once you've chosen your class, it's highly recommended to complete the tutorial. This will give you a solid understanding of the game mechanics and how to navigate your wrestling career.

Training Your Wrestler

Training is the core activity in the game. Focus initially on the attribute that your class excels in to gain a quick advantage. Here’s how to effectively manage your training sessions:

- Train Regularly: Allocate time regularly to train your wrestler's attributes, the goal is to never let your timers run out and always have attributes training and in queue.

- Use Your Skill Points: Once an attribute training session is complete, you’ll earn skill points. These points are crucial as they directly enhance your wrestler's capabilities. Make sure to allocate these points to continually improve your wrestler's strength and skills.

Learning and Training Moves

Having a robust set of moves is essential to succeed in fights. Here’s how to expand and refine your wrestler's repertoire:

- Learn New Moves: Visit the gym regularly to discover and learn new moves. Select moves that complement your wrestler’s strengths and class characteristics.

- Practice Your Moves: Utilize the “moves trainer” section of the gym to practice new moves early on. As you progress into the game and build alliances and friendships, your moves will gain levels just by doing fights, and you will not need to rely on the trainer as much.

Levelling up

Climbing to the next level in TWG, unlike many MMORPGs, does not rely on your total experience. You must actively find and defeat your level master to level up.

You can fight your level masters by going to the arena, then “Jump in the ring”, from there check the “Masters Only” Checkbox:

There you will see all of the level masters. The game currently has 15 masters and 16 levels in total.

In order to level up, you must defeat the master who have the same level as you in a “One Fall” match type.

If you sit in a level for too long and reach the top 20 ranked wrestlers, or if you hold a championship title, the master will start to challenge you regularly to try to push you to the next level.

Fight

Once you feel confident in your wrestler's training and move set, it’s time to test your skills in the arena.

Jump in the Ring: Enter fights in the arena to see how your wrestler measures up against others. This is where your training and strategy are put to the test.

Continual Improvement: Each fight will provide insights into your wrestler's strengths and areas for improvement. Use this feedback to refine your training and move strategy.
